Häufige Fragen
Is there free data?
Yes, in addition to free data offered by universities, for example, there are also numerous commercial offers.
These are aimed at app developers, shop and service operators. To anyone who wants to create added value for themselves, their customers and their community.
What is the legal basis?
The legal basis for operating a data intermediary is the Data Governance Act, which came into force in 2023. In Austria, the Digitalisation and E-Government Section of the Federal Chancellery is responsible for this, but it first has to set up the specific authority.
Is the service GDPR compliant?
Compliance with all applicable data protection regulations is a central aspect of the intermediary, and the service meets all the criteria outlined in the Data Governance Act.
They are the basis that makes business use possible in the first place.
Who can access the data?
Any registered user who guarantees compliant data processing in the form of a data agreement can be a data user.
How Do Data Agreements Work?
Data agreements specify the use of data based on various aspects. This includes, for example, the purpose, type of processing, storage duration and location, as well as detailed information about the user.
Who can provide data?
Our data intermediary adheres to international standards: Contracts are based on ISO 27560 to ensure security and consistency. Our processes fulfil the requirements of the Data Governance Act and comply with the specifications of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) and Gaia-X to ensure a secure and interoperable data infrastructure.
Services
Which Services are Available?
The data intermediary itself only provides functions for data exchange but also offers a catalog of services from verified third-party providers.
Where Can I Find the Service Catalog?
